Kilt Camp 2025

Kilt Class 2025 Is Set!!!

Mark your calendars!

Class: July 28-August 1st

(There will be a meet and greet at my house Sunday at 5pm-dinner and conversation.)

Class will be held at the Laurel Community Center, in the Shelton-Laurel Section of Marshall. It is right near a babbling creek, and nature trails.  We all need a breather sometimes when hand-stitching.

The course fee is $350.00 (tartan not included). There is a $20.00 supply fee, but only if you need to purchase any items.

Deadline to register is June 15th.

When you register we can talk about your tartan and what type of kilt you wish to make.

I teach the late Elsie Stuehmeyer’s method of kiltmaking. I highly recommend getting the book The Art of Kiltmaking.

While, you may not quite finish your kilt; it will be nearly there at the end of the week.

Learning with others is a  great experience. Encouraging words from strangers (life-long friends you haven’t met yet) can help you through it.

I am so thankful for my mentor, Judith Sullivan, and for all those in my kiltmaking family! Judy took  many classes from Elsie over the years. I am so happy to be able to pass this knowledge on to others. Thank you for your encouragement and support!
